I am from southern Louisiana, and I truly believe that it is the coolest place on earth! I love the culture, the music, and my Cajun roots. My favorite foods growing up were crawfish and gumbo, specifically the crawfish from Landry's Boiling Shack in Kaplan, Louisiana.

 

I find joy in creating content. Being able to tell, share, and show the authentic LSU student experience through photos or graphics is where I thrive.  -Dakota

What are your ‘living on campus’ credentials?

I was an RA for three years and a desk assistant for one year. I've lived in three different places on campus.

 

What is your favorite thing to do in Baton Rouge?

I like to try small mom-and-pop coffee shops. They make me feel at home!

 

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is:

"Go create. Crochet. Take photos of the things around you. Read. Write. Do anything to express that creative muscle in your brain. It is in the creative moments that you will feel at home." - Ricky Bryant
