Your Tutoring Sessions
Preparing
- Do as much work as you can before the session.
- Determine specific questions you would like to discuss with the tutor.
- Bring course materials and notes.
Scheduling
- Tutoring is only offered for the courses listed below.
- Small-group (up to 3 students) and individual tutoring is offered in 60 min blocks.
- Walk-ins also accepted if tutor availability allows.
Policies
Cancellation Policy:
- Self-cancel by logging into TutorTrac & look under upcoming appointments or
- Call the Shell Tutorial Center front desk (225-578-6757)
No-Show Policy
- After 3 no-shows during one semester, you will no longer be able to schedule in TutorTrac.
- Scheduling an appointment after 3 no shows is addressed on a case-by-case basis. Email etassi8@lsu.edu for assistance.

Additional Tutoring Options
Online tutoring is available through NetTutor. Tutor availability varies, so please refer to the NetTutor website for schedules. Students begin with 900 free minutes. If additional minutes are needed, please email etassi8@lsu.edu.

TracCloud How-To Guide
To access the LSU TracCloud System for scheduling and receiving CAS Academic Support services, visit lsu.trac.cloud.
1. To access TracCloud, visit lsu.trac.cloud
2. If you are not already logged-into an LSU website, you will see the LSU Single
Sign-On page and be prompted for your email address (mtiger1@lsu.edu) and password.
3. Once logged-in, you will see the TracCloud Main Menu page:
1. Select "Schedule an Appointment"
2. Next, click the drop downs for “Choose a subject”
You are only able to schedule services in subjects (courses) the CAS Academic Support team provides assistance. Please see the Additional Assistance page if your subject is not listed.
3. Additionally by using "Schedule an appointment for other services" you may narrow
the search to a particular service CAS Academic Support provides such as SI Office Hours and Tutoring:
NOTE: Not all services are provided for all subjects.
4. The "Search" button launches the "Search for appointment" menu. Where you can select
an appointment that works best for your schedule, or select the down arrow for additional
dates:
5. Once a date and time is selected, the menu to confirm the appointment appears.
Verify the information and select "Confirm". This appointment will now appear for
you in the TracCloud Main Menu and you will receive a confirmation email with you
details.
1. Your SI leader will present you with a scannable QR code near the beginning of
your session.
2. You may also receive a website URL and may use that instead of a QR code. Upon
scanning the code with a smartphone or accessing the URL, you will see this screen:
3. Enter your LSU email in the field above, and you will be signed in to the session.
