Your Tutoring Sessions
Preparing
- Do as much work as you can before the session.
- Determine specific questions you would like to discuss with the tutor.
- Bring course materials and notes.
Scheduling
- Tutoring is only offered for the courses listed below.
- Small-group (up to 3 students) and individual tutoring is offered in 60 min blocks.
- Walk-ins also accepted if tutor availability allows.
Policies
Cancellation Policy:
- Self-cancel by logging into TutorTrac & look under upcoming appointments or
- Call the Shell Tutorial Center front desk (225-578-6757)
No-Show Policy
- After 3 no-shows during one semester, you will no longer be able to schedule in TutorTrac.
- Scheduling an appointment after 3 no shows is addressed on a case-by-case basis. Email gheath@lsu.edu for assistance.

Additional Tutoring Options
Online tutoring is available through NetTutor. Tutor availability varies, so please refer to the NetTutor website for schedules. Students begin with 900 free minutes. If additional minutes are needed, please email gheath@lsu.edu.
