We are highlighting the learning journeys of the 2023-24 RISA recipients, as selected by the Rucks Department of Management.

In an era where the global food industry is increasingly dynamic and complex, professionals who can seamlessly navigate the intersections of food science and business are in high demand. The Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness, a collaboration between the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences, the Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness, and the E.J. Ourso College of Business, is designed to equip individuals with essential skills and knowledge for advancing their careers in this exciting sector.

The Louisiana Economy Forecasting Model, maintained by the Department of Economics, provides economic forecasts for Louisiana and the state's nine metropolitan areas for the current quarter and three quarters ahead. The forecasts for the third quarter of 2024 through the second quarter of 2025 suggest continuing slow growth in state economic activity and very slow employment growth in all but three metro areas.
