Fardin Sabahat Khan is a PhD student in Information Systems at Louisiana State University.
He holds an MS in Business Analytics and Information Management from the University
of Delaware, an MBA in Finance, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh
University of Professionals.
He brings over seven years of professional and research experience in AI, fintech,
healthcare, and digital transformation. As the first employee and founding contributor
of Trust Innovation Limited, he helped establish the company and contributed to generating
$2 million in annual revenue. Later, as Senior Manager, he directed 250+ professionals
to implement a national tax collection platform serving 20 million citizens and generating
$50 million annually, and led smart city initiatives for a 2,000-acre residential
development integrating 32 services. His leadership also extended to hospital management
systems across 32 facilities, a school platform for 82 schools, and cybersecurity
integration for Bangladesh’s first nuclear power plant. At Walton Digi-Tech Industries,
he spearheaded Bangladesh’s first electric scooter manufacturing initiative.
In addition to research, Fardin has independently taught two undergraduate IS courses
at LSU and served as a teaching assistant for six business analytics courses at the
University of Delaware. His research explores AI adoption in higher education, machine
learning applications in fintech, and intelligent automation. He has published in
IEEE conferences and peer-reviewed journals, and serves as a reviewer for AMCIS, ICIS,
PACIS, ISMAR, and Ubicomp.
Outside of academia, Fardin enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying out new restaurants.
He has traveled to 15 countries and 19 U.S. states, with plans to continue exploring
many more.
