LSU Public Safety Day Gives Students the Skills, Tools They Need for a Safe College Experience
September 04, 2025
An important part of the LSU Police Department’s role on campus is to educate the LSU community on how to stay safe.
Public Safety Day is an annual informational event hosted by the Police Department that includes interactive booths, self-defense demonstrations, impaired-driving simulations, bicycle and pedestrian safety information, K9 demonstrations, and more. The Police Department partners with other LSU departments, as well as law enforcement agencies and safety partners, to make the event happen.
