LSU’s campus transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland on January 21 as a rare snowfall blanketed Baton Rouge. The historic snow day brought a beauty to the iconic campus landscape, covering the stately oaks and broad magnolias in an illuminating layer of white.
The university community awoke to find Mike the Tiger enjoying the snow (he is half Siberian after all), Tiger Stadium shimmering under the snow, Memorial Tower framed by frosted branches, and the Quad and Parade Ground turned into serene expanses of white.
