Biography

Connie Silva is sharing the limitless potential of public relations careers with the next generation of communicators. 

She has held a variety of different marketing, public relations and communication roles over her first 15 years in the field and knows what it’s like on both sides of the agency-client relationship. Her work contributed to successful campaigns across a range of industries including tourism, nonprofit, education, healthcare and energy. 

Today, as a faculty member of LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication, Silva hopes her students not only hone the technical skills they’ll need in their chosen careers, but also gain confidence from ALL of their experiences and abilities.
