Industrial/Organizational Psychology Students
Hannah Perkins Stark is a 6th year doctoral candidate in LSU's I-O program. Her research interests include
the application of advanced research methodologies to examine employee well-being,
sleep health, and the work-nonwork interface. Outside of school, she enjoys binge
watching the latest Netflix docuseries, listening to the Crime Junkie podcast, and
renovating her “fixer-upper”.
Tyler Cowley is a 6th year Industrial/organizational psychology student working with Dr. Zhang.
He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
His research interests include risk-taking at work, judgement and decision-making,
personality, and selection. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time, hiking, exploring
the city, and watching sporting events.
Katelyn Reeves is a 4th year student in the I/O Psychology Ph.D. Program. She received her psychology
undergraduate degree with a business minor from California State University - Fresno
in 2022. Her research interests include personnel selection, sleep, risk perceptions,
and workplace safety. She loves walking in nature, gaming, watching shows, and embroidery.
Sydney Roux is a 4th year graduate student in the IDEAL lab. As a Charlotte, North Carolina native, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Psychology and Organizational Communication Studies. As a student, Sydney has worked with topics such as leadership, intersectionality, workaholism, identity, and well-being. She is inspired by real world organizational problems and, as a professional, hopes to use her skills to improve employee experiences. In her free time, she enjoys working out, playing video games, or spending time with friends.
Niloufar (Nilou) Dodangeh (she/her) is a 1st year Industrial-Organizational Psychology student on Dr. Zhang's
team. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University
of Virginia, where she also earned a Master of Commerce, with a concentration in Marketing
and Management. In addition, she holds a second master's degree in General Psychology
from the Azad University. Her research interests include personnel selection, employee
interviews, risk-taking, and personality.
Kelsea Williams is a 1st year Industrial-Organizational Psychology doctoral student on Dr. Cobb’s research team. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2025, where she conducted field research in agricultural settings and contributed to the work of the Law and Development Lab, a research initiative dedicated to advancing effective adult-child communication. These formative experiences informed her current research interests, which center on work-family dynamics, work-life balance, and the promotion of well-being in underserved sectors. Her work aims to inform practical, evidence-based strategies that enhance both organizational performance and employee outcomes. Outside of academics, her interests include playing golf, involvement in her church community, and engaging with the campus and broader Baton Rouge area.
Samantha Kaczmarek (she/her) is a 1st year graduate student in Dr. Burke's IDEAL lab. She grew up in Romeoville, Illinois, and graduated from North Central College with a B.A. in Psychology, Criminology, and Sociology. Her research interests include technology in the workplace and hiring procedures, particularly in the criminal justice professions. She is especially interested in how hiring practices can be improved to support fairness, effectiveness, and organizational well-being. In her free time, Samantha enjoys collecting vinyl records, crocheting, and watching Formula 1 races.
