The graduate students that Dr. Kerry Dooley works most closely with are:
Gabriel Otunsaya - “Metal Alloy Catalysts for Methane Dry and Bireforming”
Ademola Akanbi - “Chemical Synthesis and Process Development of the Nootkatone Family of Insect
Repellents”
Muhamad Fouad - "Minimization of Specific Energy of NH3 via Next – Generation NH3
Process"
Postdoc: Dr. Tiana Plaisance - "Dry Reforming of Methane, ALD Catalysts Characterization"
Dooley Labs – our facilities include:
-
-
- Continuous catalytic reactor systems covering a range of pressures and temperatures
- Product analysis – GC, MS, LC
- Catalyst characterization – DSC/TGA, FTIR, porosimetry, chemisorption
- Synthetic facilities such as autoclaves, ovens, Schlenk lines, glove box
- Two RF-induction heating generators
We also work extensively at the LSU Synchrotron Center on the XAS beamlines, at the
LSU Shared Instrumentation Facility (XPS, XRD, Raman, TEM, SEM) and at Oak Ridge National
Laboratory (TEM, Raman)
