Meeting Space
The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden offers 2 different locations for meetings.
The largest space is the Conference Center. Also available is the conference room
in the Orangerie. Contact our team by filling out the inquiry form for reservations.
Conference Center
Ione E. Burden Visitor Information and Conference Center was built in memory of Miss Ione and her love for education. Facility use charges include the use of lobby and/or foyer space, the exposed beam and stained glass conference room, parking lot, catering kitchen and outdoor cooking space/areas. The facility accommodates up to 120 persons.
Along with large tables and leather chairs, the Conference Center offers WiFi, an LCD projector and a sound system. Rental of the Conference Center also includes a cater-friendly kitchen.
Orangerie Meeting Room
The Steele Burden Memorial Orangerie was designed by A. Hays Town. The Orangerie, Mr. Town's last design, was a tribute to his long-time friend Steele in recognition of his landscape contributions to LSU and the surrounding region.
Facility use charges include the use of the conference room. Executive table and seating is provided for 10 people. The room provides a view of the Rose Garden and includes nearby parking.
